Bloomberg PolarLake Data Distribution
The Bloomberg PolarLake EDM Managed Service provides the right data in the right format at the right time. Integration capabilities include:
- Ability to transform a dataset to the client’s desired format, whether that is a simple flat file, database rows, a structured document (e.g. XML) or practically any other format
- Ability to communicate over a range of protocols including SFTP, HTTP, Message Queues (various flavours); ability to interface with a range of databases plus direct API access
- Ability to schedule the delivery of data, provide data on demand or on event (such as arrival of a specific file)
- Ability to manage a range of communications patterns such as Publish/Subscribe, Request/Response
