PolarLake Commits To Support Java Business Integration (JBI) Standard
Published June 28, 2005 / Press Releases
PolarLake™, a leader in standards-based incremental integration, today announced support for the JBI standard, endorsing the JBI architecture and committing to supporting JBI within future releases of the PolarLake Integration Suite. PolarLake’s support for JBI ensures that customers will be able to leverage the benefits associated with the most mature and widely backed service-oriented architecture (SOA) standard in the marketplace, within the context of a universal enterprise service bus (ESB).
JBI is rapidly emerging as the leading standard in the SOA integration space. It provides an open and extensible architecture for collaboration between integration technology and web services in an SOA. JBI will help streamline development work while future proofing customers' investments and ending vendor lock-in to proprietary integration architectures.
PolarLake’s support for JBI confirms the company’s commitment to standards-based development, and will ensure that the PolarLake Integration Suite continues to offer the ability to integrate across technological and organizational boundaries, whilst driving down costs and improving business agility.
"The move to truly standards based integration has been driven by customers demanding an alternative to the high costs of implementation and on-going ownership associated with existing integration options: hand-coding from scratch or adopting proprietary architectures" said Ronan Bradley, CEO of PolarLake. "Responding to this customer demand, PolarLake has always been committed to providing a standards-based ESB platform that supports best-of-breed integration. We see JBI as absolutely central in standardizing the underlying integration architecture, and we are committed to supporting the adoption and evolution of this standard through 2005 and beyond."
