Midwest Wireless and PolarLake provide over 300,000 wireless subscribers with access to real-time Financial Services data using XML

PolarLake™, the XML integration company and US wireless operator Midwest Wireless, today announced a major extension in Midwest Wireless' use of PolarLake's products providing over 300,000 wireless subscribers with access to financial services data.
Midwest Wireless chose PolarLake technology to help enhance its Mail.IT service providing subscribers with up to the minute message alerts on a wide range of business and general interest topics, such as severe weather alerts, news updates and sports information . The alerts are based on content provided by third parties to Midwest Wireless, encoded in both XML and binary formats.
One year on and Midwest Wireless reflect on the success of the project.
