PolarLake Participating in Interoperability Pavilion and Learning Center at IAEM Annual Conference

PolarLake is participating in an interoperability pavilion and demonstration being held at the International Association of Emergency Managers annual conference in Phoenix, Arizona.

The demonstration shows the exchange of standardized data messages between disparate and unique messaging tools. Using three emergency scenarios ranging from an explosion to a bio-terrorism event, to a hurricane, the Pavilion features continual demonstrations showing how standardized data messages can be exchanged by disparate emergency agency software systems and tools.

Kevin Dillon Appointed to PolarLake Board of Directors

PolarLake™, a world leader in application integration based on the Enterprise Service Bus (ESB), today announced the appointment of Kevin Dillon to the PolarLake board of directors. Kevin is a partner at Atlantic Bridge Ventures, an early stage technology investor with offices in London and Dublin, and has previously served as Vice President, Microsoft EMEA and helped grow the regional business from $500 million in 1991 to $9.5 billion in 2004.

As a member of Microsoft EMEA’s senior management team, Kevin was responsible for various EMEA finance functions, product manufacturing, distribution, logistics and M&A integration, licensing and subsidiary development, customer care, and channel management. He supported, and was jointly responsible for, the formation of many new subsidiaries, functions and lines of business. This included working with local management in establishing financial, operational and customer functions in more than 20 subsidiaries.

PolarLake Secures over $7 Million in Additional Funding in support of Continued Global Growth

PolarLake™, a world leader in application integration based on the Enterprise Service Bus (ESB), today announced that it has closed a funding round of over $US 7 million to support further international expansion. Atlantic Bridge Ventures led the round, in which PolarLake’s existing investors, Add Partners and Delta Partners, also participated.

PolarLake provides a complete suite of integration products for the automation of complex business processes across organizational and technical boundaries. The company will use this new funding to drive continued expansion of its sales and marketing activities in Europe, the US and Asia in order to capitalize on growing demand within large financial services and government organizations. The aim is to consolidate the PolarLake Integration Suite’s world leading position as the only viable alternative to complex and costly traditional Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) solutions.
