PolarLake Professional Services Consultant
Job Description: The role will require the successful candidate to work on PolarLake client implementations, integrating and supporting our next generation Data Management product in tier 1 Financial Services organizations. Preferred location for candidates is the Greater New York or Boston areas. All applicants must have lawful permanent residency for the United States
Required Skills:
- Knowledge of Internet protocols, applications and XML technologies (HTTP, XML, XML Schema, XQuery).
- Database skills, including knowledge of relational database schema design, SQL DML, DDL, programmatic data access using JDBC and Oracle 11G
- Knowledge / interest in distributed systems and integration technologies / approaches (JMS, MQ, J2EE)
- Knowledge of Object-Oriented software design concepts and their implementation with the Java programming language.
- Knowledge of Data Modelling
- Knowledge of Financial Services & Capital Markets a plus
- Good oral communications and presentation skills
- Good written communication skills
- Ability and willingness to travel where necessary in North America for 3 weeks – 3 months
- Professional manner
